Original Comment
I was unable to join on Saturday 4/6 and comment on agenda item e.2 Some of my comments are past their prime in terms of relevance but would like the opportunity to present them.

The salmon numbers indicate there is harvestable excess salmon available. We close the season when the math tells us to, it is fitting that we open the season when the math tells us too.

The first two options don’t have enough fish to make any profit in are fishing communities so we are for option three and going forward future seasons we need a better way to divide our fish and I think that the tiered system that they did for the black cod fisheries would be the fairest way taking are years of participation and catch history into account the weekly 30 or so fish is just another derby style of fishing that has been proven dangerous and floods markets with fish that should be caught over a longer season to keep fresh fish on the market and safer for the fishermen we also should just like the draggers did and do a buy out of the permits that haven’t participated in the fisheries maybe ten years of permit fees or they will get the smallest of permits be nice if the future plan would include stacking two or three permits but should not be more than one percent of the annual quota should be at least 100 boats or more I think that if the long liners and crabbers draggers too history mattered in how there fisheries is divided then it’s only fair ours does too thank you Chris Iversen F/V Ace Hi
